A note from Monika on why the studio was built the way it was, and what we wanted it to feel like.
Kaaya Glow began with a straightforward frustration: appointments that felt rushed, treatments that felt identical regardless of who was in the chair, and a general sense of being processed rather than looked after.
What we wanted to change
Three things, mostly. Time to actually assess skin before treating it. Treatments chosen for the person rather than pulled from a fixed menu. And an environment that lets you slow down for an hour, which turns out to matter more than any single product.
Why we consult every time
Skin is not static. It shifts with season, stress, sleep, hormones and whatever you have recently been persuaded to buy. Treating the skin you have today rather than the skin you had at your last appointment is the difference between a treatment that works and one that merely feels nice.
Healthy, glowing skin is the foundation of confidence. Everything here is built around that idea.
What is next
We are expanding the treatment menu carefully rather than quickly — most recently with semi-permanent brow artistry and French nano peels. New additions arrive only once we are confident we can deliver them to the standard the rest of the menu is held to.
Thank you for being part of it. — Monika
