Cleanse, exfoliate, extract and hydrate in one pass, with no downtime. Here is what it does well — and what it will not fix.
A HydraFacial uses a vortex-suction device to combine several steps that would otherwise be done separately: cleansing, gentle exfoliation, extraction of congestion, and infusion of hydrating serums.
What happens during the treatment
- A resurfacing tip loosens dead skin and softens congestion
- Suction lifts debris from pores without manual squeezing
- Serums are delivered into freshly cleared skin
- A hydrating and antioxidant finish seals the treatment
What it does well
It is genuinely excellent at immediate glow, hydration and clearing mild congestion, with effectively no downtime. That combination is why it is so often booked before events — you can have it done and go straight out.
What it will not do
It is not a solution for deep pigmentation, established acne scarring or significant textural change. Those need resurfacing treatments, needling, or a structured course over months. Anyone promising otherwise is overselling it.
How often?
Monthly suits most people, roughly matching skin cell turnover. If you are treating congestion specifically, a shorter course spaced two to three weeks apart tends to work better before dropping back to maintenance.
Think of it as excellent maintenance rather than transformation. It is very good at what it does, and honest about what it does not.
